Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, disclosed and protected when you visit https://globaldrivesolution.com/ (the “Website”) or contact us about equipment, spare parts or project support.
Global Drive Solution is a brand of XFR GLOBAL TRADE PTE. LTD., a Singapore company, which operates the Website and handles related business enquiries (“we”, “us” or “our”).
We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”). If other data protection laws apply to our handling of your personal data, we will handle it in accordance with those laws.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal data in three ways:
- Information you give us: for example, when you submit our enquiry form, email us, or contact us through WhatsApp or by phone.
- Information collected automatically: limited technical information generated when you use the Website, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit.
- Information from business contacts: information about you shared with us in the ordinary course of business, for example by a colleague or business partner who is coordinating an equipment enquiry with us.
The Website does not currently offer user accounts, online ordering, online payment or a public comment function. Although the Website’s software includes e-commerce components, no products, payment methods or orders are set up on the Website. We do not collect your precise geolocation.
3. Information Submitted Through Our Enquiry Form
Our “Request a Quote” and “Contact Us” pages use the same enquiry form. Depending on the fields you complete, we may receive:
- your name and company name;
- your country or region;
- your email address, your WhatsApp or phone number, and your preferred contact method;
- your enquiry type, project location, required equipment type, expected start date, estimated rental period, operator or on-site support requirements, and brand preference;
- your message and specific requirements; and
- if you submit the form from an equipment page, the equipment title, stock number, page address and equipment category, which are filled in automatically so that we know which item you are asking about.
When you submit the form, the Website also records your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you submitted from, and the date and time of submission. We use this information to manage enquiries and to help detect spam or misuse.
Your submission is stored in the Website’s database, and a notification containing your submission is sent by email to our business mailbox, sales@globaldrivesolution.com, so that our team can respond. The Website does not send an automatic confirmation email to you.
Please do not include sensitive personal data, such as identity document numbers or financial account details, in the form.
4. Business Enquiries and Communications
When you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone or another channel, we keep the content of the communication and the contact details you use. This may include equipment specifications, photos, videos, documents, and delivery or project information that you choose to share.
5. Cookies and Your Cookie Choices
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device.
Cookies and similar technologies the Website uses. Necessary: cookieadmin_consent stores your cookie choice for up to 365 days. It is created by our cookie consent tool after you make a choice in the cookie banner, and the Website does not set it before you make a choice.
Analytical (only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_6K5V758J31 (up to 2 years), and a first-party local-storage record gds_attr_v1 (up to 90 days) that keeps the campaign labels (for example “google / cpc” or “linkedin / organic_social”), landing page, referring website domain and time of your first and latest visit. During a visit we also keep the first page you viewed in session storage (gds_entry), which is deleted when you close the browser tab.
Advertisement (only with your consent): if you arrive from a Google ad, the ad click identifier (gclid) is kept in gds_attr_v1 so that an enquiry can be matched to that ad. The Website does not currently use Google Ads conversion tags, remarketing or other advertising cookies. If we introduce them, we will update this Privacy Policy beforehand.
If you reject or withdraw consent, these tools are not loaded, and the Google Analytics cookies, gds_attr_v1 and gds_entry are deleted as soon as you save your new choice or on your next page view.
Optional cookie categories. The cookie banner shows Functional, Analytical and Advertisement categories. The Website does not currently use Functional cookies. Analytical and Advertisement technologies are described above and are used only with your consent.
Making and changing your choice. When you first visit the Website, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or customise your choice. You can change your choice at any time by selecting “Customize” next to the Privacy Policy link at the bottom of any page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Record of your choice. When you make a choice in the cookie banner, our cookie consent tool also records that choice in the Website’s database, together with an anonymised version of your IP address, your country, and the date and time. We keep this record to show which choice was made.
Google Fonts. The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and standard browser request information. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Cookies placed by other websites or services that you use in the same browser, for example if you are signed in to a Google account, are not set by the Website and are not covered by this section.
6. Website Analytics and Advertising
Google Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors reach and use the Website, for example which pages are visited and whether a visit came from Google search, LinkedIn, Facebook or another website. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are turned off. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, company, message or other enquiry content to Google. Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months.
Google Ads. The Website does not currently use Google Ads conversion tracking, remarketing, Customer Match or enhanced conversions, and we do not upload customer lists or hashed contact details to Google. If we introduce Google Ads conversion measurement, we will update this Privacy Policy beforehand and use it only with your consent.
Campaign labels on links. Links we share on LinkedIn, Facebook and in ads may contain campaign labels (UTM parameters). If you submit an enquiry, the campaign labels in the address of the page you came from, and with your consent the first and latest visit information described in section 5, are stored with your enquiry so that we know which channel it came from.
Your choice. Analytics tools load only after you accept the Analytical category in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Customize” at the bottom of any page.
We do not use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or the LinkedIn Insight Tag on the Website. The Website also does not currently embed videos, maps or social media content, and does not use a third-party CAPTCHA service. If we introduce any of these in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy beforehand and, where required, ask for your consent.
7. Server Logs and Security
Like most websites, the Website’s hosting server automatically records technical information when the Website is accessed, such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and browser type. These logs are used to operate the Website, diagnose problems, prevent abuse and keep the Website secure.
We also use security tools that record the IP addresses of failed login attempts to the Website’s administration area, so that we can block unauthorised access.
8. WhatsApp and Other Third-Party Services
The Website includes links that open WhatsApp so that you can message us. WhatsApp is not embedded in the Website. When you use WhatsApp or another third-party messaging service to contact us, the provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of that service. Messages you send to us are received and kept on the devices and accounts we use for business communications.
The Website may also link to other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before giving them personal data.
9. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and communicate with you by your preferred method;
- understand your equipment, spare parts, rental or project requirements;
- identify suitable equipment or suppliers, and request information, photos, videos or inspections;
- prepare quotations, and coordinate inspection, documentation, loading, shipping and after-sales matters;
- keep records of our communications and business dealings;
- operate, maintain and secure the Website, and prevent spam or misuse; and
- comply with our legal, regulatory, accounting and tax obligations.
We will not use your personal data for a purpose unrelated to those above without first notifying you and, where required, obtaining your consent. If we send you information about equipment or services that you did not ask for, you can tell us at any time to stop.
10. Consent and Withdrawing Consent
We collect, use and disclose personal data with your consent (for example, when you submit our enquiry form and tick the consent box), or where the PDPA or other applicable law otherwise permits or requires it.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by giving us reasonable notice using the contact details in Section 17. Before acting on your request, we will tell you about the likely consequences, for example that we may no longer be able to respond to your enquiry or continue a transaction. After that, we will stop collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes concerned, unless the law permits or requires us to continue.
You can withdraw or change your cookie choices at any time as described in Section 5.
11. Disclosure to Service Providers and Business Partners
We do not sell your personal data. We disclose personal data only as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- service providers that support our operations, such as website hosting, email delivery, website software, and IT and security services;
- suppliers, equipment owners and inspection providers that need relevant details of your requirements in order to provide equipment information, arrange inspections or prepare a quotation. Where practical, we share only what is needed, such as the equipment requirements, destination country and company name;
- logistics, freight forwarding, customs and documentation providers, when you proceed with a shipment;
- professional advisers, such as accountants, auditors and lawyers; and
- authorities or other parties, where the law requires or permits disclosure, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We expect our service providers to use personal data only for the purposes for which we provide it and to protect it appropriately.
12. International Data Transfers
We are based in Singapore, work with supply chain partners in China, and deal with customers and service providers in other countries. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries other than your own, including Singapore, China and the countries where our service providers operate.
When we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we take steps, as required by the PDPA, to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
If you consent to analytics cookies, information collected by Google Analytics is processed by Google and may be transferred to and stored in the United States and other countries where Google or its service providers operate. Google applies its own safeguards to such transfers as described in its privacy and data processing terms.
13. How Long We Keep Personal Data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as we need it for legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution or security purposes. In deciding how long to keep personal data, we consider:
- whether your enquiry is still open, or has led to a quotation, transaction or continuing business relationship;
- the records we must keep under applicable law, such as accounting and tax records; and
- the need to keep technical and security records for a limited period to protect the Website.
Enquiry form submissions and cookie choice records are not deleted automatically. We review them and delete or anonymise those that are no longer needed for the purposes above.
Source information attached to an enquiry (campaign labels, landing page, referring domain and, where applicable, the Google click identifier) is kept together with that enquiry and deleted with it.
Emails sent by the Website are recorded in a delivery log that is currently configured to be deleted automatically after 14 days.
When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it or dispose of it securely.
14. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal and similar risks, and against the loss of storage media or devices on which it is held. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted administrative access and login protection.
No method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be secure, so we cannot promise that personal data will never be accessed without authorisation. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
If a data breach occurs, we will assess it and, where the PDPA requires, notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and the affected individuals.
15. Access and Correction
Subject to the PDPA and its exceptions, you may ask us:
- for access to the personal data about you that we hold or control, and for information about the ways in which it has been used or disclosed within the year before your request; and
- to correct an error or omission in your personal data.
Please send your request to the contact details in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
We will respond to an access request as soon as reasonably possible. If we are unable to respond within 30 days after receiving your request, we will tell you in writing, within those 30 days, when we will be able to respond. We may charge a reasonable fee for providing access, reflecting the time and effort required; if so, we will tell you before we process the request.
We will act on a correction request as soon as practicable and, where the PDPA requires, send the corrected personal data to other organisations to which we disclosed it within the year before the correction.
If other data protection laws apply to you, you may have additional rights under those laws, and we will handle your request in accordance with them.
16. Children and Changes to This Policy
The Website and our services are intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Website or applicable law. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
